| RCMP Detective Earl Peters is called out to a crime scene he will never forget. Lying motionless in the middle of a deserted service road near the Calgary Airport, in full uniform, is RCMP Constable Gordon Kowalczyk. The 35-year-old father of three has been shot dead, probably during a traffic stop. It's every cop's worst nightmare.
