| Over a hundred student quiz teams from all over the UK are about to discover whether they have earned a coveted place on the latest series of University Challenge. Having faced the gruelling interview and tackled the toughest test paper, they have done all they can - now it is time to learn their fate. For the successful 28 teams, their journey continues with an intense training period before heading to the studios in Salford's Media City.
