| The journalist Peter Verås finds, after five years, a first sign that his brother was forced to take his own life. He and his sister in law Eva discover someone who knew his brother's secret. The only thing he reveals is the name "Abraham" before he shoots himself. With his colleagues and the police beginning to mistrust his explanations, Peter continues to pursue leads.
