S01E18 - Beard Buddies
| Peppermint Larry hosts his annual Adventure Beard-Off. Men with fantastic beards compete to win Peppermint Larry's candy-daughter's hand in marriage. Captain K'nuckles wants a beard to compete (he and Flapjack think that the daughter is made of candy, and they both want to eat her), and Flapjack makes a fake beard out of hair and glue. The next morning, K'nuckles wakes up with a beard and enters the competition. Then, he discovers that his "beard" is actually Flapjack stuck to his face and covered in hair and glue. After failing all three rounds of the competition miserably, Flapjack jumps off K'nuckles' face and starts dancing, much to the enjoyment of the crowd. Then, the hair and glue fall off of Flapjack, and it is revealed that his beard is fake. When asked to quickly pick a winner, Peppermint Larry chooses The Dock Hag with a beard. It is then discovered that Peppermint Larry's daughter is not as beautiful as expected (or made of candy), as she is adopted. | |
