S03E02 - Redemption
| As Camille and Niémans go to the countryside to meet Arnaud Morillon, a former colleague of the BRI and friend of Niémans, it's shocking. They find his corpse, infected with bubonic plague, the Black Death, thought eradicated for centuries... While an initial analysis reveals that the infection was voluntary, a doctor from the Pasteur Institute, announces that there has just been another case, kept secret to avoid panic. Very quickly, the two investigations seem linked. After the discovery of the corpse of another colleague of Niémans at the BRI, also by the plague, everything points to the former group of Niémans as the common denominator. Niémans and Camille then set off in pursuit of a mad killer, wearing the typical mask of "beak doctors" dealing with cases of plague at the time, who threatens to spread this deadly bacteria in the capital. In a nightmarish Venice carnival, the investigation plunges them into what looks like revenge against Niémans' team, twenty years earlier... | |
