| A grim discovery in the woods pushes the investigation into a new phase. Sarah anxiously waits for confirmation of whether the body discovered there is connected to Katie's disappearance. New evidence also begins to cast suspicion on several people in Saint-Michel. Sarah becomes increasingly convinced that one of the town's residents may know more than they are admitting. Virginie also continues to investigate the disappearance of Odile Lambert, as inconsistencies in the official account begin to emerge. As arrests follow, fragile alliances start to collapse as personal loyalties are tested, and long-buried secrets begin to surface. Sarah refuses to give up hope that her daughter might still be alive.
